Travelling Home

I'm headed back home today! I am leaving here in about 30 mins and just wanted to make a quick post because usually, I do my best thinking as I am driving this route. It gives me a solid 5 hours, at least, of good quality thinking time!

I am expecting to speak with my supplement guy from the states, my property management guy from Memphis and my connection with the Rent to Own properties out on the west coast. When I get home, as long as I have time tonite, I will post an update concerning all these phone calls.

I expect over the next month, for things to really take off! It is going to be very busy but I anticipate some huge strides forward in the weeks to come. I am going to set my goals in the next couple of days while I'm home, so stay tuned to see what I have planned. There will be opportunities for anyone interested in getting involved!

The Law of Dharma or Purpose in Life

The seventh spiritual law of success, say that we are spiritual beings who have taken physical form to fulfill a purpose. Everyone has a purpose in life - a unique gift or special talent to give to others, and for every unique talent and expression of that talent, there are also unique needs. When we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our spirit. This is the goal of all goals.

There are three components to the Law of Dharma. The first component says that each of us is here to discover our true self, to find out that we are spiritual beings, or divinity in disguise.

The second component of the Law of Dharma says that each of us has a unique talent that we are here to express. Our talent is so unique that no one else alive has that talent, or that expression of that talent. When we are expressing our unique talent - or more than one talent in many cases - we are happy, and we lose track of time.

The third component of the Law of Dharma says that we are here to serve our fellow human beings with our talent. By asking the question, "How can I help all those who I come into contact?" we combine the expression of our unique talent with service to humanity, and make full use of the Law of Dharma.

The experience of our spirituality, coupled with the expression of our talent in service to humanity gives us access to unlimited abundance. This is the spark that generates abundance, and it's permanent, not temporary, because this is the real way abundance is achieved. By asking the question "How can I help?" instead of "What's in it for me?" we go beyond the internal dialogue of the ego, into the domain of our spirit - that part of our awareness where we experience our universality.

The Law of Dharma implies more than seeking work that we love; it implies our unique destiny, our place in the cosmic plan. It implies a shift in consciousness that begins when we align ourselves with our highest vision, and then become the manifestation of that vision. The force that serves as a bridge to such a transformation is also dharma.

First comes the moment whe we realize that life cannot succeed without vision. Then we arrive at the biggest mystery of all. What is the meaning of our lives in the scheme of the universe?The root word dharma, in Sanskrit, gives us a valuable clue: It means "to uphold." We know we've become part of the cosmic plan when the universe upholds and supports us. The seventh spiritual law of success brings the preceding six laws to fruition, for when we master the Law of Dharma, the whole universe is on our side. Every law and power of nature comes to our aid and supports us spontaneously.

Self-exploration isn't a task we accomplish and then abandon. Every person is a never ending project of the universe. we are like ships in the night, and the current that holds us up and carries us toward the dawn is dharma. If we open our spiritual eyes and see through the illusion of our conditioning, then the path of dharma beckons us. It was there all along. It is there now, at this very moment, calling out from the depths of our own awareness.

If you want to experience the Law of Dharma, there are several things you can do. The first is to seek your higher self through spiritual practice and discover your divinity; the second is to find your unique talents; and the third is to serve humanity with the expression of your talents.

If money was no concern and you had all the time in the world, what would you do? If you would still do what you currently do, then you are in dharma because you have passion for what you do. How are you best suited to serve humanity? Answer that question, put into practice, and you can generate all the wealth that you want.

When your creative expressions match the needs of your fellow humans, wealth spontaneously flows from he realm of the spirit to the world of the form. You begin to experience your life as a miraculous expression of divinity - not just occasionally, but all the time. And you will know true joy and the true meaning of success - the ecstasy and exultation of your own spirit.

To experience the Law of Dharma

-Nurture the divinity within you, the spirit animating your body and mind, by carrying the consciousness of timeless being in the midst of time-bound experience.

-Make a list of your unique talents. Then list all the things that you love to do while expressing these talents.

-Ask yourself daily, "How can I help?" and "How can I serve? The answers to these questions will help you to serve your fellow human beings with love.

Healthy ME - Day 12

Great start to the day today! I woke up at 4:15, took Jax for a walk and I hit the bike for a quick 15 minute warm up. I grabbed my chicken breast and salad for the day and left for the gym. I got to the gym and was ready to rock and roll!

I finished up with a nice ab routine! Today I felt energized and I really felt like I pushed myself. It's such an amazing feeling when you leave the gym after you feel like you have really pushed the limits. It's almost a euphoric type of feeling! I can't wait to get at it again tomorrow morning!

Tonite I will spend some time on the bike again. My focus is to really burn some calories over the next week to 10 days!

7 Spiritual Laws of Success

The Law of Detachment

The sixth spiritual law of success, the Law of Detachment, says the way to acquire anything in the universe is to relinquish our attachment to it. This doesn't mean we give up the intention to create out desire; we don't give our intention, and we don't give up the desire. We give up our attachment to the outcome. The moment we combine one-pointed intention with detachment to the outcome, we will have that which we desire.

Anything we want can be acquired through detachment, because detachment is based on the unquestioning belief in the power of self. The source of wealth - or of anything in the physical world - is the self, the field of pure potentiality that knows how to manifest everything. All we need to do is nurture our deepest intentions in our hear and go with the flow.

Detachment comes from an inner knowingness that we are a pattern of behavior of a higher intelligence. When things don't seem to go our way, we can let go of our idea of how things should be. We know that in our limited awareness, we cannot see the synchronistic, harmonious patterns of the universe of which we and our intentions are a part.

Attachment, on the other hand, implies doubt and distrust in nature's intelligence and its infinte organizing power. Attachment is the melodram of the ego, because it is based on fear and insecurity, and this comes from not realizing the power of the self. Those who seek security chase it for a lifetime without ever finding it, because security cna never come from material wealth alone. People say, "When I have a million dollars, then I'll be financially independant; then I'll be secure." But it never happen. Attachment to money and security only creates insecurity, no matter how much money we have in the bank.

Attachment to symbols of wealth - cars, houses bank notes - creates anxiety because the symbols are transitory; they come and go. When we exchange our self for the symbols of our self, we end up feeling empty inside.

The search for security is actually an attachment to certainty, to the known, and the known is the prison to our past conditioning. Freedom from our past lies in the wisdom of uncertainty. Without uncertainty, life is just the repeition of outworn memories. There's no evolution in that, and when there is no evolution, there is stagnation, entropy, and decay.

In ancient wisdom traditions, the solution to this dilemma lies in our willingness to detach from the known, step into the unknown, and surrender our desires to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe. The unknown is the field of all possibilities, ever fresh, ever new, always open to the creation of new manifestations. This field can orchestrate an infinity of space-time events to bring about the outcome intended. But when our intention gets locked into a rigid mindset, we lose the fluidity, flexibility, and creativity inherent in the field.

Attachment to a specific outcome freezes our desire into a rigid framework, and this interferes with the whole process of creation. True wealth consciousness is the ability to have anything we want, anytime we want, with the least effort. Detachment is synonymous with wealth consciousness, because with detachment there is freedom to create. How can we create when we're clinging and grasping, and full of anxiety? We don't need to have a complete and rigid idea of what we'll be doing next week or next year, because if we get rigidly attached to that idea, then we shut out a whole range of possibilities.

The Law of Detachment does not interfere with goal setting. We still have the intention of going in a certain direction, but between point A and Point B there are infinite possibilities. With uncertainty factored in, we might change direction if we find a higher ideal, or if we find something more exciting. When we experience uncertainty, we're on the right path, and it's the fertile ground of pure creativity and freedom.

How can you apply the Law of Detachment? Begin by practicing detachment involvment. This means whenever you encounter a problem, you stay grounded in the wisdom of uncertainty, while expectantly waiting for a solution to emerge. If you remain detached, you won't feel compelled to force solutions on problems. This enables you to stay alert to opportunities, and then what emerges is something powerful and exciting. The state of alert preparedness in present meets with your goals and intentions, and allows you to seize the opportunity within every problem you have in your life.

Every problem is the seed of an opportunity for some greater benefit. Once you have this perception, a whole range of possibilities opens up, and this keeps the wonder and the excitement alive. Only by practicing detached involvment can you have joy and laugher. Then wealth is created spontaneously and effortlessly.

The word universe means one song. Your every intention or heart's desire is like a melody in nature's symphony; all you have to do is sing your song. A Rumi poem says, "I want to sing like birds sing, not worrying who listens or what they think." If you can sing your song with that attitude, you are participating in the Law of Detachment, and nothing will be able to stop the force of your intentions.

Relinquish your attachment to the known, step into the unknown, and experience all the fun, mystery, and magic of what may occur in the field of all possibilities. When your preparedness meets opportunity, a solution will spontaneously appear that benefits you and all those around you.

What is commonly called "good luck" is nothing but preparedness and opportunity coming together. This is the perfect recipe for success, and it is based on the Law of Detachment.

To Experience the Law of Detachment

-Practice detached involvment. Stay alert to the opportunity within every problem by letting go of your idea of how things should be.

-Accept uncertainty as an essential part of your experience. In your willingness to accept uncertainty, solutions will spontaneously appear.

-Remain open to all possibilities and enjoy every moment in the journey of your life - all the fun, mystery, and magic in the field of pure potentiality.

Healthy ME - Day 11

Yesterday was my day off/Cheat Day!

I love cheat days and yes.... cheat days are important to have from a psychological and physical point of view. It's not easy to just completely change your diet and go"cold turkey" on a lot of the foods we enjoy eating. For me, grilled cheese and pizza are about as good as it gets. Now, clearly it's not the healthiest choices and for what I want to accomplish, I can't be eating grilled cheese for lunch and pizza for dinner everyday.

I think we can all understand the psychological side of eating chicken and salad every day... BOOORING.... right? Well that's why we have the cheat day. Something to look forward to, something to reward our discipline throughout the week. Make it a good one but don't go overboard. Feel good about it, really enjoy your cheating! A lot of people will feel guilty but don't allow yourself to feel this way. You worked hard this week, you deserve it!

Physically, if you eat chicken and salad every day, you will become healthier, no doubt. But, did you know that similarly to doing the same exercises over and over again, your body will adapt and eventually the exercise becomes less effective. Well, over the last few years, there has been research to suggest the same principle applies to diet as well. So, really, cheat days help keep your body processing the food you eat optimally.

As for my routine today, it will be 30 mins on the exercise bike after work. I will also do an ab routine but other than that, not too much. My gym here in Dawson Creek is only oopen from 12-5 today and I am at work during those times.

So... for todays spotlight exercise, I chose the hanging leg raise. This movement will "rip" up your lower abs expecially. If done properly, avoiding any "swing" to your body while performing the movement, it is, in my opinion, the most intense ab exercise out there.

The Law of Intention and Desire

The fifth spiritual law of success, the Law of Intention and Desire, says that our intentions and desires, when released in the field of pure potentiality, have infinite organizing power. Just by introducing an intention in the fertile ground of pure potentiality, we activate this field, and put its infinite organizing power to work for us. This isn't a mystical notion. Every time we have a desire to walk or lift our arms, our intention incites millions of chemical reactions and electrical impulses that obey fixed laws of nature. The fifth spiritual law says that inherent in every desire are the mechanics for its fulfillment, and these mechanics apply to desires reaching far beyond the physical body.

Energy and information exist everywhere in nature; at the level of pure consciousness, there is nothing other than energy and information. This means there are no well-defined edges between our physical body and our extended body - the universe. We can consciously change the energy and information in our own body, and influence the energy and information of our extended body - our environment - and cause things to manifest in it.

This change is brought about by two qualities inherent in consciousness: attention and intention. Attention energizes, and intention transforms. Whatever we put our attention on grows stronger in our life; whatever we take our attention away from withers and disappears. Intention triggers the transformation of energy and information, and organizes its own fulfillment. The quality of intention on the object of attention orchestrates an infinity of details to bring about the intended outcome.

we see the expression of this organizing power in every blade of grass, in every flower, in everything that is alive. In the scheme of nature, everything is connected and correlated with everything else. The groundhog comes out of the earth, and we know it is going to be spring. Birds begin to migrate in a certain direction at a certain time of year. Nature is a symphony that is silently orchestrated at the ultimate ground of creation. As long as we do not violate the other laws of nature, we can us conscious intent to literally command the powers of nature to fulfill their dreams and desires.

Intention is the real power behind desire because it is desire without attachment to the outcome. Desire in most people is attention with attachment to the outcome. But when we combine intention with detachment, our intent is for the future, while our attention is in the present. Present-moment awareness is powerful, because the future is created by our actions in the present. We cannot take action in the past or in the future. Past and future are born in the imagination. Only the present, which is awareness, is real and eternal.

If we practice present-moment awareness, the imaginary obstacles - which are more than 90 percent of the obstacles - disappear. The remaining obstacles can be transformed into opportunities through one-pointed intention. This means holding our attention to the intended outcome with such unbending purpose that we refuse to allow obstacles to consume our attention, or to dissipate the focused quality of our attention. This is the power of focused intention and detachment simultaneously.

How can you harness the power of intention to fulfill your dreams and desires? You can get results through effort, but if you follow these five steps in the Law of Intention and Desire, your intention will generate its own power: 1) Center yourself in the silent space between thoughts - in the essential state of being; 2) Release your intentions and desires with the expectation that they will bloom when the season is right; 3) Keep your desires to yourself; do not share them with anyone else unless they are closely bonded with you; 4) Relinquish your attachment to the outcome; and 5) Let the universe handle the details.

Remember, your true nature is one of pure potentiality. You don't need to look at yourself through the eyes of the world, or allow yourself to be influenced by the opinions of others. Remain established in the awareness of your true self. Carry the awareness of your spirit where ever you go, gently release your desires, and the universe will orchestrate all the details to you.

To experience the Law of Intention and Desire:

-Make a list of your intentions and desires, and look at this list before you go into silence, before you go to sleep at night, and when you wake up in the morning.

-Release your desires to the field of pure potentiality, trusting it to handle all the details for you. Know that when things don't seem to go your way, there is a reason.

-Practice present-moment awareness in all your actions. Refuse to allow obstacles to consume your attention in the present moment.

Weekly Mentoring Call

Last night on the call, I told Diane that I wanted to learn more about the actual process. I told her I understood the need to do research on properties and I have committed to doing research on at least 20 properties a day. So.... we got further into the process....

We discussed seller financing options. For seller financing you need to find "motivated sellers". These are people that have gone through a lot at this point. They have gone through the entire grieving process and have finally ended up at desperation. Now, this may seem cold hearted and to some people this may seem like we a re taking advantage of these people. If this is how you look at it, then that is exactly what you would be doing. On the other hand, if you look at this situation, as a situation to help someone get out of a horrible situation, well then you are providing a valuable service.

Without you, these people will most definitely be foreclosed on or the bank will "short sale" the property. As I mentioned before, a "short sale" is when the bank shorts themselves out of their money to avoid losing more. In a case like this, if the home owner has allowed their property to head into foreclosure proceedings and have no way of getting out of this horrible situation, the bank will put up a short sale to avoid the property value dipping further and therefore taking a greater loss.

That's where we come in... We offer to take over the title in exchange for repaying the back payments owed on the property. We would also offer terms for overall payment on the property. We would accomplish this by getting the home owner to agree to terms and sign a contract. Then after the home owner vacates the property, we would place approved renters in the property, paying a monthly rent and creating a positive monthly cash flow on our investment.

Diane also gave me the contact information for a realtor who also does property management in Memphis. His name is Chris Peak and I plan on contacting him today to discuss future plans. I will post more information on what role he will play after I contact him.

7 Spiritual Laws of Success

The Law of Least Effort

The fourth spiritual law of success, the Law of Least Effort, is based on the fact that nature's intelligence functions with effortless ease, with carefreeness, harmony, and love. This is the principle of "Do less, and accomplish more." When we learn this lesson from nature, we easily fulfill our desires.

If we observe nature at work, we see that the least effort is expended. Grass doesn't try to grow; it just grows. Fish don't try to swim; they just swim. This is their intrinsic nature. It is the nature of the sun to shine. And it is human nature to make our dreams manifest into physical form - easily and effortlessly. What is commonly called a "miracle" is actually an expression of the Law of Least Effort.

Least effort is expended when our actions are motivated by love, because nature is held together by the energy of love. When we seek power and control over other people, we spend energy in a wasteful way. When we seek money for personal gain only, we cut off the flow of energy to ourselves, and interfere with the expression of nature's intelligence. We waste energy chasing the illusion of happiness, instead of enjoying happiness in the moment. Attention to whims of the ego consumes the greatest amount of energy. But when our internal reference point is our spirit, our actions are motivated by love, and there is no waste of energy. Our energy multiplies, and the surplus energy we gather can be channeled to create anything we want, including unlimited wealth. When we harness the power of harmony and love, we use our energy creatively for the experience and evolution.

How can you put the Law of Least Effort into action? There are three things you can do. The first thing is to accept people, situations and events as they are, not as you wish they were, in this moment. This moment is as it should be, because it took the entire universe to make this moment. When you struggle against the moment, you struggle against the entire universe. You can intend for things to be different in the future, but in this moment, accept things as they are.

The second thing is to take responsibility for your situation and for all the events you see as problems. This means not blaming anyone or anything for your situation, including yourself. Responsibility means the ability to have a creative response to the situation as it is now. All problems contain the seeds of opportunity, and this awareness allows you to take the moment and transform it into a better situation.

If you do this, every upsetting situation becomes an opportunity for the creation of something new and beautiful; every tormentor or tyrant becomes your teacher. The relationships you ahve attracted in your life are precisely the ones you need at this moment; there is a hidden meaning behind all events that is serving your own evolution. And if you choose to interpret reality in this way, then you will have many teachers and many opportunities to evolve.

A third way to put the Law of Least Effort into action is to practice defenselessness. This means relinquishing the need to convince others of your point of view. By doing this, you gain access to enormous amounts of energy that have previously been wasted.

When you have no point to defend, you stop fighting and resisting, and you can fully experience the present, which is a gift. When you embrace the present, you begin to experience the spirit within everything that is alive, and joy is born within you. As you drop the burden of defensiveness and resentment, you become lighthearted, joyous, and free. In this joyful, simple freedom, you will know that what you want is available to you whenever you want it, because your want is coming from a state of happiness, not from a state of anxiety and fear.

The Law of Least Effort assures us that there is always a simple, natural path to fulfillment. Nature's intelligence unfolds spontaneously through the path of least effort and no resistance. This is the way you can live, too. When you combine acceptance, responsibility, and defenselessness, your life flows with effortless ease. Your dreams and desires flow with nature's desires. Then you can release your intentions without attachment, and when the season is right, your desires will blossom into reality.

To experience the Law of Least Effort:

-Accept people, circumstances, and events as they are in the moment. When confronted with any challenge, remind yourself, "This moment is as it should be," because the entire universe is as it should be.

-Take responsibility for your situation without blaming anything or anyone, including yourself. Every problem is an opportunity to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.

-Relinquish the need to defend your point of view. In defenselessness, you remain open to all points of view, not rigidly attached to one of them.

Add 2 tablespoons non-fat french vanilla creamer, 1/4 cup low fat granola, 1 frozen banana (peel & wrap in plastic prior to freezing), 1 tablespoon of low-fat peanut butter, 2 tablespoons sugar-free Nestle's Quick. Blend at high speed for 45 seconds.

Leg Day! EESH! I am gonna be sore tomorrow for sure! Oh well! No pain... Yeah whatever! :P

I stuck with a very similar routine again. I am still doing the Chicken and Salad routine for my meals. I really attacked the abs this morning too.

Being that it was leg day, I figured that squats would be a good choice for the exercise of the day.

7 Spiritual Laws of Success

The Law of Karma or Cause and Effect

The third spiritual law of success is the Law of Karma or Cause and Effect. Karma is both action and the consequence of that action. Everyone has heard the expression "What you sow is what you reap." If we want to create happiness in our lives, we must learn to sow the seeds of happiness. Therefore, the Law of Karma implies the action of conscious choice making. When we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our karma is happiness and success.

In every moment, we have access to an infinity of choices. Some choices are made consciously, while others are made unconsciously. Unfortunately, a lot of our choices are made unconsciously, and therefore we don't think they are choices - and yet, they are. As a result of conditioning, our choices are often triggered by people and circumstances into predictable outcomes.

If I were to insult you, you would most likely make the choice of being offended. If I were to pay you a compliment, you would most likely make the choice of being flattered. But think about it: You can make the choice of not being offended by an insult; you could make the choice of not letting a compliment flatter you either.

The best way to use karmic law is to step back and witness the choices you are making in every moment. When you make a choice, ask yourself two things: "What are the consequences of this choice?" and "Will the choice I'm making bring happiness to me and those around me?" There is always one choice that will create maximum happiness both for you and for those around you. This choice is the spontaneous right action because it's the action that nourishes you and everyone else who is influenced by that action.

How do you make spontaneous right choices? By paying attention to sensations of comfort and discomfort in your body. At the moment you make a choice, ask your body, "What are the consequences of this choice?" If your body sends you a message of comfort, that's the right choice. If you feel uneasiness in your body even as you ask the question, then it's not the appropriate choice.

For some people, the message of comfort or discomfort is in the area of the solar plexus, but for most people, it's in the area of the heart. Put your attention on your heart, and ask your heart what to do. Then pay attention to how you feel. The response may be the faintest level of feeling, but it's there. You will know the answer is right because it will feel right, without any lingering doubts. The heart knows the correct answer because it taps into the field of pure potentiality and infinite organizing power, and takes everything into account. The heart is intuitive and holistic; it has a win-win orientation. And though the answer may not seem rational, the heart is far more accurate than anything within the realm of rational thought..

You can use the Law of Karma to create money and the flow of all good things to you. But first, become aware of the choices that you are making in every moment. The more you will make choices that are spontaneously correct - both for you and for those around you.

How can you apply the Law of Karma to the choices you've already made?
Most people pay their karmic debts - unconsciously, of course. Sometimes there's a lot of suffering involved, but the Law of Karma says no debt in the universe goes unpaid.

If you want to transform your karma to a more desirable experience, look for the seed of opportunity within any adversity, and tie that seed of opportunity to your dharma, or purpose in life. This will enable you to convert the adversity into a benefit, and transform the karma into a new expression.

Begin by asking yourself, "What message is the universe giving me? What can I learn from this experience? and how can I make it useful to my fellow human beings?" For example, if you break your leg while playing sports, perhaps the message is that you need to slow down and be more attentive to your body. And if your purpose in life is to teach others, then by asking, "What can I learn from this experience, and how can I make it useful to my fellow human beings?" you may decide to share what you've learned by writing a book about playing sports safely. Thsi transforms your karma into a positive experience.

You can also transcend the seeds of your karma by becoming independent of it. The way to do this is to keep experiencing the Self, your spirit, by going into silent meditation and coming out again. This is like washing a dirty piece of cloth in a stream of water. Each time you wash it, you take away a few stains, and it gets cleaner.

Every action is a karmic episode because action generates memory, memory generates desire, and desire generates action again. As you become conscious of these seeds of manifestation, you become a conscious choice maker, and the actions you generate will be evolutionary. As long as karma is evolutionary - both for you and for those around you - the fruit of karma will be happiness and success.

To experience the Law of Karma:

-Witness the choices you make in every moment. The best way to prepare for any moment in the future is to be fully conscious in the present.

-Whenever you make a choice, ask yourself two questions, "What are the consequences of this choice?" and "Will this choice bring happiness to me and to those who are affected by this choice?"

-Ask your heart for guidance, and be guided by its message of comfort or discomfort. If the choice feels comfortable, go ahead with the choice. If the choice feels uncomfortable, then don't make that choice.

Healthy ME - Day 8 - Recipe

I have decided to add another aspect to the healthy living side of things.... Recipe ideas!!

Since I am taking protein shakes so often, I like to switch it up every so often and make "gourmet" versions to give my taste buds a little blast! Here's the first recipe of many to come!

Apple Pie
Add 8 oz. of Non-Fat milk or water. One scoop of vanilla protein powder. Add three tablespoon of apple pie filling, 1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice, and three ice cubes. Blend at high speed for 45 seconds. For Muscle gain - Double recipe.

Healthy ME - Day 8

Shoulder and biceps day today. I was really tired today! I am really looking forward to my day off on the weekend to let my body recover a little. I have already noticed a big change in my gut! I am really going to focus on the abdominal region over the next little while... I mean I'm going to Mexico in 30 days! :P

Tomorrow is Leg day again and then I will be switching up the routine a little because it will be the second time through my rotation. You want to make sure you are switching it up regularly and giving your body a wake up call. IF you don't and you continue to do the same thing over and over again you will hit the dreaded "training plateau."

The War on Debt

It seems that there are a lot of wars being fought all over the place every day. I don't just mean the wars we hear about in the news papers being fought in far away countries. I mean the wars in our back alleys and in our lives. There's the war on drugs. There's the war on terrorism but we don't have any immediate influence on what goes on there. Sure, get involved and educate yourself and your families but let's get real, are you going to fly to who knows where and take out Osama??

One war you should be getting involved in is the war on debt... YOUR DEBT!

So let's get right to it...

First step in the War on Debt: Get $1000 in the bank!
This will act as a mini-emergency fund. This is a critical step to provide a safety net if needed. The idea here is to avoid incurring any new debt.

Second Step in the War on Debt: Pay off all debts!
This is where we apply the Debt Snowball as I previously described.

Third step in the War on Debt: Get 6 months of living expenses in the bank. This will complete your emergency fund. This is basically your safety net. ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST!


So where can we find additional money for the Debt War? Well we could sell assets such as a car, boat, television, hockey card collection, etc. Anything that has any value can be sold and the profits put towards debt.

We could also free up cash from daily spending, which is actually the most important step. Simply by bringing a lunch with you to work instead of eating out can make a major impact on your War efforts.

Another way is to increase your income by taking on a part time job to aid in repaying debt.

7 Spiritual Laws of Success

The Law of Giving and Receiving

The second spiritual law of success, the Law of Giving and Receiving, is based on the fact that everything in the universe operates through dynamic exchange. Every relationship is one of give and take because giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. If we stop the flow of energy, we interfere with nature's intelligence. We must give and receive in order to keep money, or anything we want, circulating in our lives.

Currency, our word for money, derives from Latin word meaning "to run or flow." Money is symbol of the life energy we give and the life energy we receive as a result of the service we provide to others. Like a river, money must keep flowing; otherwise it begins to clog and stagnate. Circulation keeps it alive and vital. If we stop the circulation of life energy, if our intention is to hold on to our money and hoard it, we stop its circulation back into our lives.

The intention behind our giving and receiving is the most important thing. When the act of giving is joyful, when it is unconditional and from the heart, then the energy behind the giving increases many times over. But if we give grudgingly, there is no energy behind that giving. If we feel we have lost something through the act of giving, then the gift is not truly given and will not cause increase.

The Law of Giving and Receiving is simple: If you want love, learn to give love; if you want attention and appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation; if you want material affluence, help others to become materially affluent. If you want to be blessed with all the good things in life, learn to silently bless everyone with all the good things in life. The more you give, the more you will receive. In your willingness to give that which you seek, you will keep the abundance of the universe circulating in your life.

Abundance has material expression, but what is really circulating is consciousness. Even the thought of giving, the thought of blessing, or a simple prayer has the power to affect others. We are bundles of thought in a thinking universe, and thought has the power to transform.

The best way to experience the Law of Giving and Receiving is to give a gift to everyone you come into contact with. This doesn't have to be in the form of material things. The gifts of caring, affection, and love are some of the most precious gifts you can give, and they don't cost you anything.

One of the things I was taught as a child is never to go to anyone's house without bringing a gift. You may say, "How can I give to others when I don't have enough myself?" You can bring a note that says something about your feelings for the person you're visiting. You can bring a flower, a compliment, or a prayer.

Whenever you meet someone, silently send that person a blessing. This kind of silent giving is very powerful. Give wherever you go, and as you give, you will receive. As you receive, the more ability to give will increase, and the more you'll gain confidence in the miraculous effects of this law.

There is nothing you lack, because your essential nature is one of pure potentiality and infinite possibilities. You are inherently affluent no matter how much or how little money you have, because the source of all wealth is the field of pure potentiality that knows how to fill every need.

Giving and receiving are nothing other than the flow of life - the harmonious interaction of all elements and forces that structure the field of existence. The exchange of energy is a process that has its own timing, organization, and beauty. Your life unfolds in the same way. Everything that comes to you isn't something you earn, but a gift freely given by the universe, which means it comes from a deep awareness of what you need.

Think of all the things that have been freely given to you without your having to as for them. Just experiencing gratitude allows you to participate in the Law of Giving and Receiving. Nature supports your every need and desire, including your need for joy, love, laughter, harmony, and knowledge. Seek these things first - not only for yourself, but for others - and all else will spontaneously come to you.

Healthy ME - Day 8

Back and Triceps again. I really pushed it today. I was up at around 3:30 this morning so I got about 30 mins on the bike as well. I really pushed it this morning and stayed with a very similar routine from the last Back and Tri's day. Although today I relaxed a little on the abs... they're pretty sore!

For the rest of my workout days, I will be sharing with you how to do certain movements so that as you follow along you understand what I mean when I say I am doing a certain exercise. I'll either attach a link, pictures or even a video to show you how to perform each movement.

Since I worked on my back today I thought I would show you one of my favorites and one of the best movements for strengthening your back, arms and core all in one easy (well maybe not so easy) movement.

Close Grip Pull Up




This is a great movement whether you're at the gym or at home. It's easy to install a bar in any doorway of your home!

Implementing the Debt Snowball

The Debt Snowball is where you take all your debts and order them from smallest to largest. The idea is to pay off the smallest debts first and keep paying off debts until you get to your mortgage. Focus on paying off all the debts that do not appreciate. Even if you have to sell assets to get you to a debt free situation, it can definitely pay off in the long run. After completing your snowball, we will focus on creating a safety net of 6 months worth of expenses. Since we have "snowballed" a majority of our debts at this point, we won't require as much to pay our bills per month.

So, let's get started and complete the exercise below to get our snowball rolling.

Law of Pure Potentiality

The first law of success, the Law of Pure Potentiality, says our essential state is one of pure potentiality. Pure potentiality is pure consciousness; it is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity. Our physical body, the physical universe - everything in the material world - comes from the same place: a field of silent, unmoving awareness from which anything is possible. There is no separation between this field of energy and our spiritual essence, our self. This field is our own self. And when we know that our essential nature is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe.

Knowing who we really are gives us the ability to fulfill any dream we have, because the same field that nature uses to create a forest, a galaxy, or human body can also bring about the fulfillment of our desires. Anything is possible in the field of pure potentiality, because the field is the source of all power, all intelligence, and infinite organizing ability.

Therefore, success in life depends on knowing who we really are. when our internal reference point is our spirit, our true self, we experience all the power of our spirit. When our internal reference point is the ego or self image, we feel cut off from the source, and the uncertainty of events creates fear and doubt. The ego is influenced by objects outside the self - circumstances, people, and things. It thrives on the approval of others. It wants control, because it lives in fear. How can you experience the Law of Pure Potentiality? One way is through the practice of silence and meditation. This means tuning out the world and taking time to simply be. In the bible is the expression "Be still, and know that I am God." Stillness is the first requirement for manifesting your desires, because your stillness you connect with the field of pure awareness and infintite organizing power.

Imagine throwing a little stone into a still pond and watching it ripple. That's what you do when you go into silence and introduce your intention. Even the faintest intention ripples across the field of universal consciousness that connects your desire with everything else. This field can orchestrate an infinity of details for you. But your mind is like a turbulent ocean, you could throw the Empire State Building into it and you wouldn't notice a thing.

Practicing nonjudgment is another way to experience the Law of Pure Potentiality. When you are constantly judging things as right or wrong, good or bad, you create a lot of turbulence in your internal dialogue. This turbulence constricts the flow of energy between you and the field of pure potentiality. In the silent space between your thoughts is a state of pure awareness, an inner stillness that connects you to true power. Through the practice of nonjudgement, you silence your mind and access your inner stillness.

Another way to experience the Law of Pure Potentiality is to spend time in nature. By observing nature you begin to sense the harmonious interaction of all the elements and forces of life. The lavish display of abundance in the universe is an explosion of the creative mind of nature. Just by tuning in to the mind of nature, you will access the field of pure potentiality and infinite creativity, and spontaneously receive creative thoughts.

Whether it be a stream, a forest, a mountain, or the sea, connecting with nature's intelligence will give you a sense of unity with all life, and help you get in touch with the innermost essence of being. This essence is full of magic and mystery. It is feerless ; it is free. When you are grounded in the knowledge of your true self, you never feel fearful or insecure about money or fulfilling your desires. You never feel guilty about wanting or having an abundance of anything because you realize that the essence of all material wealth is life energy. You know that your desires are inseparably connected with everything else. Your very desire is not your own; it's an evolutionary impulse coming through you, so why would you doubt it? That impulse is part of the greater pattern, which to grow and evolve into greater abundance and creativity.

The Law of Pure Potentiality says that you are consciousness itself, both as it manifests in the material world, and as it lies unmanifest in your being. With the knowledge and practice of this law, you can put yourself in harmony with nature and create with carefreeness, joy, and love. Healthy ME - Day 7

My LEGS ARE KILLING ME!!

Apparently if you feel like you're going to blackout after a workout... the pain the next day is even worse! My legs feel like the were in the running of the bulls and got trampled!

Today I was back to chest and biceps. I did a very similar routine and just mixed in some exercise ball flies to mix it up a little. Tonight I plan on getting into the cardio to really kick it up a notch!

For the next week I will be eating chicken breast and salad for 4 of my meals and a meal replacement shake for 2. I'll be taking the meal replacement for breakfast, prior to working out and about an hour before bedtime. I will have a normal protein shake within 20 minutes of completing my workout and then my other 4 meals will be had every 3 hours throughout the day.

So my diet plan for the next week will look like this:

4:30am - Meal Replacement, Multivitamin, Superpump 250

6:20 am (post workout) - Protein Shake

9:30-10:00 am - Chicken Breast, Salad

12:00 - 12:30 - Chicken Breast, Salad

3:00 pm - chicken Breast, Salad

6:00 pm - Chicken Breast, Salad

8:00 pm - Meal Replacement

I'll take my before and after pics for the week and post them next Tuesday. See how mauch of a change we can make in just 7 days!

So it's getting down to crunch time. Within the next week or two I will have my single investment market picked out and will be taking the steps towards purchasing investment properties. My main goal behind purchasing these properties will be to create a monthly cash flow. So the most obvious being collecting monthly rents.

Tomorrow is the first step in the process by setting up my LLC or Limited Liability Corporation. I have a phone call scheduled for 11:00 am to go through the process. I will make a posting on everything I learn tomorrow about this process and how it will benefit me moving forward.

I also have a meeting scheduled for Feb 26th to meet with an internet genius! What he does, I have no idea. All I know is he was making 6 figures a month since he was 18. Either way, it should be an interesting meeting.

Later today I will be posting the second exercises for Personal Finance Basics. These are the exact same exercises that I have been asked to complete during this challenge. I will be completing the same part 2 of the course today.

From this point on... I will keep notes through every course as I go through it. Any notes or exercises which are to be completed I will share with you. I will mention any workbooks or ebooks I am asked to read for these courses and if you would like a copy please feel free to email and ask for them.

Healthy ME - Day 6 - Part Deux

Got up at 4:30 and was ready to rock and roll. Grabbed my chicken breast and salad for the day and was out the door.

Before I leave, I have a meal replacement shake and a large glass of water. I'm also still depending on my Superpump 250 to get it rocking in the morning.

Workout was as follows:

Jump Squats
4 sets @ 10 - 12 reps
Overhead Tricep Dumbell extensions
3 sets @ 12 reps

Wall sits (to failure)/weighted stair lunges
3 sets of 3 to 4 sets of stairs

Calf raises
3 sets of 10-12 reps

After I was done my calf raises, I tried to do more Triceps but I almost blacked out. I think I may have pushed it a little too far!

I actually had to take about 10 mins in the change room after to clear my head before driving to work! That's when you know you pushed yourself hard enough and you were not dogging it!

Weekly Mentoring Call

Last night on my weekly mentoring phone call, Diane and I looked at some more properties. I know that to be successful in real estate, you need to be able to unconsciously determine whether a property is a good deal or not by just looking at it. It should become second nature. This is why we focus so much at looking at as many properties as possible.

We looked at a bunch of properties in Florida and talked about how to set them up as vacation properties. Found a bunch on ziprealty.com. She also shared a new site with me which is dedicated to government auctions:

Very good site with a lot of good deals. In the near future, on days where I don't have a lot to write about, I will take the time to give a good description of all the different sites I am using. For now, we will just stay with just the links. Have a look for yourself.

She also showed me how to recognize a booming local market or a correcting local market by researching DOM (Days on Market). Just by researching how many days properties spend on the market in an area, can help determine what a local market is doing.

60-90 Days on Market = hot market or boom market

12-24 months = correcting market

Typically, a boom market will last 3 to 5 years. Corrective or down markets last 2 years. Now she also mentioned circumstances now will take longer to correct but she believes the market will rebound in 4 to 5 years. So.... you know what that means?

Great deals for us for that whole time!

Think about it... When will you ever see these prices mixed with these interest rates? Maybe never again in our lifetime! So let's take advantage of it!

Outside of that... other things going on are:

Tuesday I have a phone call coming in at 11 am from CSS Nevada to set up my American corporation. This will be my American identity for investments in the states. This company keeps your identity in complete secrecy providing a great situation for those who want to limit liability.

SAIRE Inc will be alive and breathing in the near future as well. This will be the company I run all the real estate and other investing through.

Also, we are doing some pretty cool things and offering some interesting services which I will get more into here over the next day or two.

Last night I spoke with my marketing guy about how to effectively market ERP Nutrition. He had some pretty good ideas:

On site marketing - We talked about having some representatives go around and handout samples. They will go around to establishments and give out free samples with cards attached which will forward people onto our website.

Website - The website will have our initial product line as well as information on future products that we are working on. You will also be able to purchase a self improvement toolkit off of the site which will provide you with samples of every product available, a quick start training guide, a DVD on how "they" did it and more! The "they" I speak of is explained more below...

"They"- We will be picking at least 2 blue collar people in the coming weeks to complete our Self Renovation Project. These people will be required to give a whole hearted effort to work with the people we surround them with to "renovate" themselves into a brand new, healthier and happier "them". If you or anyone you know are interested in participating, please contact me with your name and contact information. I also would like you to tell me why you should be the one we choose for this project. All equipment and access to facilities will be provided to you and all we ask in return is accountability and documentation of progress. Deadline for applicants is February 28th, 2009.

We anticipate accomplishing all of this in the next few months to coincide with the wide release of ERP Nutrition's product line featuring, "Primer Whey Protein"!

First Video Blog tonite after my weekly call!

Healthy ME - Day 2

I went to go watch the Oilers trash the Habs last night and stayed out a lot later than my personal "home by 7:30" rule. Sadly, I'm usually in bed and asleep by the latest 9pm on any given night. Last night, I never made it to bed until 10:30. Now I understand why people cringe when I say I get up at 4:30 in the morning. 95% of the population just finished dinner when I'm usually counting sheep!

Nevertheless, I was up at 4:30 again... skipped the bike this morning and took Jax for a walk. Made it to the gym feeling less than motivated. Thanks to the power of Superpump 250, I was hitting it hard within 10 minutes. Today I trained Back and Triceps...

Wide grip pullups - 3 sets to failure

French Press - 3 sets to failure

Close grip chin ups - 3 sets to failure

tricep dips - 3 sets to failure

I ran through these exercises back to back, 3 times. I threw in some abs at the end and I again felt like I was going to yak but I was out of the gym in 30 minutes and felt great!

Part 1 of the Process

Here is a Financial Health Checkup. Go ahead and fill it out for yourself...

6. Subtract the Liabilities from your Assets to calculate Net Worth. What is this amount?

Doing this will give you a good idea of where you are now financially. This will provide a basic guage to measure your progress as we proceed. Obviously the idea is to increase our Net Worth.

Another Important factor is to look at our internal script (attitude) towards money. Proceed to the next exercise.

Healthy ME - Day 1

I apologize up front if I miss a day along the way but here we go....

Woke up at 4:30 am this morning and rode the bike for about 10 mins. Then I took my multi-vitamin and my pre-workout drink (Superpump 250) and got my butt down to the gym. Like I said, I'm not starting from scratch and I do have some know how here but, I have a split training routine. Today was Chest and Biceps. My routine was as follows:

Flat Chest Flies
- 12 reps @ 40lbs
- 10 reps @ 50 lbs
- 10 reps @ 55 lbs

Bicep Curls (EZ Curl bar)
- 12 reps @ 40 lbs
- 10 reps @ 50 lbs
- 8 reps @ 60 lbs

Incline Dumbell Press
- 12 reps @ 40 lbs
- 12 reps @ 45 lbs
- 12 reps @ 50 lbs

Hammer Bicep Curls
- 10 reps @ 20 lbs
- 10 reps @ 25 lbs
- 10 reps @ 25 lbs

Dumbell Pullovers/Ball Push ups
- 10 reps @ 45 lbs / Push ups until failure
- 10 reps @ 45 lbs / Push ups until failure
- 10 reps @ 45 lbs / Push ups until failure

Incline Bicep Curls
- 10 reps @ 20 lbs
- 10 reps @ 20 lbs
- 10 reps @ 20 lbs

And then I feel like puking!

This whole workout, the chest exercise is immediately followed by the bicep exercise and then immediately followed by an ab exercise. You then take 30-45 seconds rest and continue on to the next set. For beginners, take 90-120 seconds rest but really try to push yourself.

After the workout, I take a protein shake because your body needs it to aid in the repair of the muscle tissue you have destroyed while training.

As for the rest of my menu, I will post more on this later...


PS.... My Chest is killing me!
I'm also going to be taking the opportunity here to share my journey to a healthier me as well. I know it's about 5 or 6 weeks late but the new year is a year filled with resolutions. A very popular and often failed resolution is to get into shape. Now... yet again, I am not starting from scratch here, in fact, I'm not in that bad of shape but what I do know some about is living healthy and getting into shape. I am going to give myself a 10 week time frame to get in the best shape possible.

It's like I always say, "start the day with a success, and let it carry you through the rest of your day!" Once you make that choice to live a healthier lifestyle, you will find more energy and excitement which will carry you through other successes we will work towards as well. Let's work together to improve our financial and physical shape which will, without question, improve our mental shape as well.

So... every day, as a part of my posting I will tell you exactly what I have done to improve my physical well being. I encourage people to share any workouts or recipes or success stories to help motivate everyone out there! Together, let's make 2009 the best year ever!

I won't be giving my actual figures, for obvious reasons, but I will go through the process so we can all get an idea of where we are so we know what our starting point is. Last night while riding the bike (man is it ever nice to have that back, I was getting pudgy!) I was reading "The Attractor Factor" by Joe Vitale, and I had a bit of a breakthrough. I have been struggling a little lately with keeping my head clear. I have been having a hard time staying focused, not surprising really considering I'm just so crazy busy.

It started late last week when I started getting a little intimidated and scared when I started to think about everything that's going on. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited but scared as well. Anyways, as I was reading I came across a paragraph that got me thinking. It said, "When we are born, we only have 2 fears. The fear of loud noises and the fear of falling."

Well that explains some of us out there and those dreams we have where we are always falling and we don't understand what they mean. It's a primal fear that has been instilled in us since birth. As for the fear of loud noises, well guys, that explains the fear of the in-laws coming over! Just kidding of course! :D

That brings me to the real question and my point here...

Why do we get scared when we are faced with life's little challenges? When we are so close to succeeding why do we become scared and back off? There is no logical reason to allow that fear to take hold of us.

Take a few minutes and visualize yourself as a brand new soul entering this world. Not as a baby but as yourself... a fully grown adult. Focus on what you have learned here... the only fears you are justified in having are the fears of loud noises and falling. Nothing else! If something has a hold of you, let it go! There is no reason to be afraid!

These were the thoughts that went through my mind last night and I found them incredibly helpful. "The Attractor Factor" has really helped me over the last week deal with some real issues in my past and helped me to focus my energy in positive and constructive way.

Another way it helped me was, I was still focusing some energy on the past in regards to a past relationship. I was still struggling with allowing myself to let it go. I wasn't doing this consciously but it was definitely still affecting me in a negative way. I didn't know how to release myself from this burden.

Joe Vitale put it well in "The Attractor Factor". He said, "Imagine your energy you put forth in a day as money. Let's say all your energy amounts to $500. If you are stuck dealing with something in your past, that will cost you $100, $200, $250 or more. IF you don't have your entire $500 to spend on your day, you are going to have to sacrifice some things throughout the day because you don't have enough money left".

This really put it into perspective for me. The craziest part, some may call it a coincidence but I know better than that now, was that the very next day, that ex girlfriend contacted me. We spent the next 2 or 3 hours emailing back and forth in one of the most emotionally engaged and inspiring conversations I have ever experienced. I found peace and closure on the subject and feel better than ever.

My fear I was experiencing was direct correlation of the energy I was losing on a daily basis by exerting it on a dead subject. All completely unconscious to what was going on.

We all struggle and we all find life difficult, but why? I have learned life is amazing! Life can be filled with joy, laughter and elation! I am tired of a shadowy, dark and miserable existence. Make that choice and find where your smile went to!

Ok enough sap for the day! I hope all that made sense... anyone have anything to add or want to share a story?

Well here it is! At least the label for the new Protein. I am working on getting the website for the products going so that we can do some initial marketing. We will be offering Self Renovation tool kits containing everything you need to complete a physical self improvement project.

The multi vitamin and Fat Burner/Energy booster are still being worked on and the artwork will be posted as soon as I get it!

Obviously, the product will not be called "Blend Whey Protein", so help me figure out a name. Any suggestions?

Things are going to get crazy over the next little while but let's make the most of it! I will post at least something every single day! I am full blown, right into my training with the challenge and so every time I take part of a course, I will report what I have learned back here. That way it will help me retain what I am learning anyway!

So, we are going to start with these 3 products and build from there. As I said before, it is going to be directly marketed towards Blue Collar Workers so the actual descriptions will be tailored to do just that. The Protein comes in a container resembling a paint can and the multi vitamin will be in a welding rod tin and the fat burners more than likely will be in a screw or nail container… what it will look like exactly is yet to be determined.
